The Board of Directors for Camp Fire Mountain Homes would like to welcome Dr.
Janet Tucker to the board for the 2005 year. Dr. Tucker is a Denver resident and
spends quite a bit of time in Keystone throughout the year. As a Denver resident
she will provide the board with a local’s perspective of problems that present
themselves within the association.
There was some discussion about obtaining information on the bollards on the
property. Mike said he would do some research on this subject and the board can
discuss at a later date. Ernie Pierson said that he recalls having seen a letter
from the Snake River Fire Department saying that if we tried to place an
electronic gate on the property, that the association would be sued. Ernie will
try and locate this letter and get back to the board when he finds it.
Some of the members expressed their concern for the private road access signage.
Mike said that he would place a sign on the left side along with a lighting
device of some kind. The possibility of putting speed bumps to slow down traffic
was discussed. Dr. Tucker said that she did not want to have to drive over speed
bumps while leaving or entering her house. Mike said he would be glad to get an
estimate when and if the board wants to move ahead with this. For now it is just
being discussed.
The next item of discussion was Mr. Parkhouse and Dr. Tucker’s request for
approval of their fencing addition. They stated that they would like to add
fencing along the rear and side of their properties for hot tub privacy, safety,
insurance and aesthetic reasons. Bill Parkhouse supplied the board members a
copy of the layout of this property showing where the fencing would be added.
Ernie Pierson asked Mike Magliocchetti to give his blessing to the project. Mike
responded by saying that he thinks the addition of the fencing to both Dr.
Tucker’s unit and Mr. Parkhouse’s unit would be a positive addition to the
project as a whole. The materials and stain would be consistent with that which
already exists at the Camp Fire project. Dr. Tucker has a copy on file with the
association from a previous meeting. Mr. Parkhouse stated that he would be
willing to pay for the repainting costs of their fences when the exteriors are
repainted from time to time if required by the HOA. After much discussion, Mr.
Parkhouse made a motion to vote on the approval of the additional fencing to
both his and Dr. Tucker’s properties. Dr. Tucker seconded the motion. The board
passed the vote by a margin of 4-1. The opposed vote belonged to Bonnie
Merchant.
The last item of discussion was to find a way for the board to respond in a
timely manner to any inquiries by the members and or residents of the Camp Fire
Mountain Homes.
The meeting was adjourned @ 4:12 P.M.
