In 2005, a homeowner Jake Coats filed suit against the Association to prevent use of the private trail easement adjacent to the Coats property (Lot 22) until certain water and erosion issues were resolved. Wright Water Engineers, Inc. was asked to provide an independent evaluation of the current drainage situation involving Lots 22R through 26R and the common driveway that service these lots in the Meadow Wood subdivision. This evaluation was made in response to concerns expressed by Dr. Jonathan Coats that certain drainage problems are causing the driveway to fail. Click HERE to view the findings of Wright Water Engineers. The following resolution was adopted by the board regarding the Meadow Wood Trail Easement... Following the resolution of the trail easement issue, Mr. Coats initiated a lawsuit regarding the maintenance and upkeep of the limited common area driveway and lower slope serving lots 22R through 26R. The following is the Settlement Agreement that the Board entered with Mr. Coats.
